A Petty Officer who ran a maintenance section did not "support asset management". They led a team of eight, held delegations, ran readiness against a schedule that did not move, and answered for the result. Our job is to write that in language a civilian panel can price, while keeping every claim true enough to survive an interview with a former Warrant Officer on the panel.
